Abstract

There is no excuse for denying any American citizen his rights. This is not a project to defend discrimination in Kansas. I will try and show that "the values of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century's material wealth and successful competition caused Kansas blacks to determine their process by standards in force for society at large."1
