JCES - Journal of Counseling and Educational Studies

About the Journal

Mission Statement

The Journal of Counseling and Educational Studies (JCES) is dedicated to advancing rigorous, peer-reviewed scholarship that strengthens the theoretical, empirical, and applied foundations of counseling and counselor education while promoting interdisciplinary research across related educational science disciplines. The journal publishes research that contributes to individual and collective well-being, enhances counseling, educational, and mental health practice, advances equity and social justice, and informs policy, leadership, training, supervision, and decision-making in educational and related human service contexts.

By integrating counseling research with complementary perspectives from educational psychology, educational leadership, school psychology, and related fields, JCES serves as a scholarly platform for innovative, methodologically sound, and socially responsive research that addresses complex challenges within educational and human service systems.
